“Waves GTR is one of the most useful creative tools available for guitar players today.”
“Its possible uses are infinite, and the choices of tones are limited only by your imagination. The ability to change the mic placement, choices, and cabinet configurations can be precisely tailored to your specific taste. The amp presets sound great right out of the box, even before you tweak them, and the Stomps just enhance the entire program. Any guitarist can find the perfect tone for any style of music."
Born and raised in Washington D.C., Mike Scott started playing guitar as a child, and by the age of 13 was already performing in local clubs. Upon his graduation from the famed Duke Ellington School of Performing Arts, he embarked upon a successful career as an in-demand sideman, touring with popular R&B artists such as Juicy and Peaches & Herb. In 1992, he began working as session guitarist for the legendary production team of Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, putting his musical mark on projects by Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, and countless others. By 1996, he had begun playing for Prince, a musical relationship that continues to this day.
